DESCRIPTION

RockSteel RS500 is a ready to use, solvent based high concentrate silicon polymer for protecting extremely porous stone, concrete, masonry, stucco, mortar, grout joints and other very porous substrates. RS500 contains the highest concentration/percentage of silicone in the industry making it perfect for extremely porous stone such as limestone and sandstone. It is non-yellowing, transparent, easy to apply and cures rapidly. Immediately upon application it begins molecularly bonding with substrate forming a clear, durable, water resistant, permanent, seamless polymeric matrix.
Because the polymeric matrix formed by RS500 contains a significantly higher percentage of silicone it forms a unique, dense, strong barrier. It is designed to repel water, salts and other minerals in water, oils, gasoline, pool chemicals, diluted acids and other mixtures of hydrocarbons.

Like RS100 RockSteel RS500 prevents saltwater erosion and resists the effects of effervescence forming on highly porous materials. it weather proofs, protects, and preserves extreme porous substrates for worry free use in and around swimming pools, pool copings, waterfalls, fountains, walkways and landscaping.

EXISTINGCSALTWATER EROSION
When applied over an existing substrate with saltwater erosion issues RS500 will help strengthen and consolidate the surface reducing the effects of erosion while preventing further salt from penetrating. GENERAL
Use regular RockSteel (RS100) for porous substrates and RS200 for semi-porous substrates.
RockSteel RS500 will resist stains and make the removal of stains much easier - RS500 can darken some substrates - always test before applying.

PACKAGING
1 Gallon (3.79 Liters) and 5 Gallon (18.95 Liter) units.

PRECAUTIONS

DO NOT DILUTE. Do not leave exposed to air - keep lid on container when not using. Always wear protective eye-wear and plastic gloves. Product is combustible in liquid form; harmless once cured.

COVERAGE

100 - 250 sq ft per gallon depending on surface porosity. Normally only one application is required, however, a second coat can be applied once the prior coat is absorbed into the surface. Always remove/wipe excess unabsorbed product from the surface.

TECHNICAL DATA

Curing: 20 - 3- minutes or less; dry to the touch, absorbed into surface.
Re-Coat: Where required, can be applied immediately upon absorption of prior coat.
Application: Wipe any excess unabsorbed material off substrate
Surface Prep: Always clean; can be damp, semi-wet, no standing water.
Rain: Once cured, rain has no effect.
