Virtually eliminates re-plastering

ClearBlue does what no other product can do, it stops calcium from leaching.  Leaching repeats itself over and over causing the disintegration of plaster over time.  ClearBlue stops calcium decay and significantly extends plaster life reducing the cost of maintaining plaster and virtually eliminating the need for costly re-plastering in the future.


ClearBlue forms a  durable, seamless composite barrier.  The barrier with the exception of water vapor, does not allow compounds or minerals to pass through it from either side.  Pool water and chemicals in the water such as chlorine cannot get through the barrier and make contact with the plaster nor can calcium compounds in the plaster make contact with the water.

ClearBlue bonds with the plaster; the plaster becomes a union of the molecules of ClearBlue and the plaster forming a polymer matrix barrier.  The plaster looks like plaster but it's molecular composition has been altered.  Since the barrier cannot separate it will last and preserve the plaster for  the life of the plaster.


For existing pools whatever the condition of the plaster is when ClearBlue is applied is how it will remain.  The pool must be drained  and should be cleaned, then ClearBlue applied.  The average time of application is less than 30 - 45 minutes depending on pool size.
