Silicon based technology has been utilized to protect a wide array of materials since the 1950’s; from preserving wooden artifacts that have been underwater for hundreds of years to protecting concrete bridges from erosion and weakening by ice expansion. Silicones have been used to protect materials around salt water pools in Europe and Australia for decades. There are many unique silicon/silane/siloxane products and there are literally tens of thousands of combinations.
Many of our products are unique siloxy combinations created in our laboratory to provide solutions to specific applications and fill voids remaining in competitive technology. Once developed, these products undergo rigorous testing and finally are submitted to outside testing laboratories where they are tested using recognized testing standards associated with the claims being made.
Our new Wet Look product uses unique acrylic technology to penetrate deeper and last longer giving it features not available in competitive products such as being able to be used around salt water pools.
Our product focus is on making application simple, easy and fast. Most, once applied, begin bonding in seconds and cure in minutes and can be applied on damp or wet surfaces and are impervious to immediate rain. In contrast typical siloxy based products can require many hours and often days to bond and cure and can require reapplication if rainfall occurs prior to full curing.
